As we launch Euly's new website, we are pleased to make available our two basic documents, known among our members as the Historical and Economic documents. Both documents can be downloaded in PDF format in both Arabic and English in the Papers and Studies section. The two documents were formulated through a long debate between our members and partners, and have played a crucial role in Euly's evolution into what it is today. 

The Egyptian Union of Liberal Youth (EULY) is pleased to announce that Amr Bargisi, Euly's Director of Programs, has been awarded the 2011 ALbert Einstein Fellowship offered by the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation. The purpose of the fellowship is to support those who, in addition to producing extraordinary work in their area of specialization, are also open to other, interdisciplinary approaches – following the example set by Albert Einstein. 

Egypt's sectarian issues have turned the country into kind of large minefield, where no one knows when and where the next sectarian clash will explode. The roots of sectarian tension are intricately intertwined with the Egyptian social fabric, and are therefore deep and complex. Where do you start? We in the Egyptian Union of Liberal Youth believe that the most effective treatment of Sectarianism is long-term, we also believe that the matter.
